Design what it means to me. It’s been a tough but miraculous way! If you think it, it’s possible. You just must find a way to make it become a reality. This is design. Also, design is where the idea and the knowledge of how to do it intersect. Knowing that I was using a mathematical equation as the base of my necklace design, it was fun to see how many designs I could produce. I had the Classic Line, and then the Uptown, Elite and Signature Line. With each line came new creativity, like going to sleep and waking up refreshed in the morning I would see new designs in my head.
What was fun were the customers. When people would return to my booth or kiosk, they wanted to see what was new- like a new flavor of ice-cream at a boutique shop, I had new designs monthly. And people were beginning to come bye just to see them. What at first people thought would be impossible, over time they came to be believers! What I was asking them to do was exactly opposite of every dainty chain rule! Tie on a dainty chain necklace and know it won’t fall off? Yeah right! Or better yet, pull it - like you mean it, off and it won’t break? Yeah right! Both claims seem backwards- But creative ideas colliding with knowledge of how, produce fabulous design. And it works.
God is the pro at creative ideas meeting infinite knowledge to become the BEST designs- and the pro at saying the Opposite of what we are told to do in society is the Best way to do it.
